Santa cruz longboards: speed and comfort

The first impression when standing on the longboard is its huge size, in a positive way. You feel really comfortable on this longboard with its 10” of width and 44” of length. So, there is plenty of room on the board to feel stable and relaxed. When cruising downhill, the spray-on grip will be appreciated. In a word, the Santa Cruz longboards are built for speed. The deck is really strong and stiff, what provides a balance and control when attempting to grind.
Unfortunately, here are also some negative features of the Santa Cruz Skate Mahaka Blue Cruzer. The wheels seem to be too soft. So, when not on decline, the board seems to drag slowly. For big guys this could be a problem as well. The design of the board deserves some consideration as well. It looks rather ordinary compared to other Santa Cruz longboards which really boast their graphics. Nevertheless, some people may enjoy this design.
Overall, this longboard is worth to try out. If you need a big longboard for fast downhill sliding, then this longboard is ideal for you. Besides, the board looks incredibly solid. I bet, it is a very durable one. In sum it is a normal board for ordinary riders who prefer speed and sturdiness. Keep in mind, that if you are of athletic statue, you might need another kind of Santa Cruiz longboards, because this type has really soft wheels.
